Howto hide a folder in computer:-
First of all create a folder and keep data in it (Data which you wanna secure and hidden from others) after that keep following steps which are given below....
Properties of a folder:-
First of go do properties of the folder which you want to make hidden from others as described in the picture below...
What to do for make a folder hidden:-
When you click on proprties you will see a pop-up window as shown in the picture below from them all you have to un-check the Read-Only option and check Hidden box after that you have to click on apply... As discussed in the picture below...
After above process click on apply button where arrow is giving you a help....
How to apply change on to be hidden folder:-
When you click on apply button you will see a new pop-up window in this you have to choose Apply changes to this folder only and then click on ok button as shown in the picture below... and then apply and ok in next window...
If your folder don't hide:-
If you complete the above process for hiding the folder and even then you can't hide your folder go to Control panel by following the instruction which are given below in the picture...
Change folder settings:-
When you click on folder options you will see a new window in this you will see many options and from Tabs you have to choose View tab and in this you will see many options form these options you have to choose Don't show hidden files, folders, or drives and then you have to click on firstly on apply and then Ok button as shown in the picture below...
